Fish are a species in Peep and the Big Wide World.

Appearance[]

Fish usually have a tail, two fins on the side, and one dorsal fin. These fins have black lines and are darker colors that the rest of the body. Most have the same appearance, only they are colored differently.

Personality[]

The fish appear to be mostly concerned with the world above Quack's pond. They are friends with Quack even though he bosses them around most of the time.

General Information[]

Fish are a species appearing in Peep and the Big Wide World. They live in bodies of water and most fish that have been seen reside in Quack's pond, but fish are also seen in Big Bay near the end of Fair Shares. The only distinct character is Fish Jr. The fish debut in Under Duck.

Under Duck[]

An orange fish touches Quack and he is startled. He looks under his pond and finds fish living in it. He asks them to leave but the fish say that they're his neighbors. He then brings a cup to the fish, saying that they can live in it if he puts water in it. At the end of the episode they sing and Quack teaches the fish about ducks.

The Fish Museum[]

The episode opens by Quack telling the fish stories of what it above his pond. Fish Jr. wants to go "Up There" but after the orange fish tells her that she can't because she'll die, She has the idea for Quack to bring things from above his pond into it so that they can open a museum of "Things From Up There." Quack agrees and brings down a stick, a sneaker, a potato, a bowling ball, a book, an apple, and an acorn. Quack also brings a balloon for the fish to ride so they can briefly see the Big Wide World.

The Last Straw[]

Peep and Chirp find that Quack is acting odd. He turns out to be trying to teach the fish to dance. He tells the two that the "Fish Spectacular" is that night. He invites some animals and that night, all of them except Peep and Chirp end up leaving because they couldn't see anything below Quack's pond. Peep tries using a straw they had used earlier to spy on Quack to see the Fish Spectacular underwater.

  • Hoop Tricks - Some fish are seen going through the hoop as a "fish gate" when it falls into Quack's pond.
  • The Perils of Peep and Chirp - While walking to Green Island on frozen Big Bay, a fish comes to the surface and startles Peep.
  • Peep's Color Quest - Quack finds a pair of orange glasses that belong to the Fish Museum.
  • Hear Here - Quack's concert was set in his pond so the fish could be at it.
  • The Deep Duck Woods (mentioned) - Quack mentions that the fish gave him the directions to his special place in the woods.
  • The Tooth, the Whole Tooth, and Nothing but the Tooth - Fish Jr. says that she found a "hard white thing" that she thought was Beaver Boy's tooth.
  • The Winter of Quack's Discontent - Quack wants to rescue the fish and finds them under the ice of his pond but they don't need saving.
  • In a Bind - Quack tries to talk to the fish underwater while his leg is connected to Chirp's by a string. He gets pulled back.
  • Bringing Spring (mentioned) - Quack tells Peep and Chirp about his game at his pond when the fish are too sleepy to listen.
  • Duck Ball (mentioned) - Peep and Chirp wonder if the fish can play DuckBall with them. They don't think so because the fish can't go out of water.

  • In Peep's Color Quest, a green fish with sharp teeth appeared out of nowhere, scaring Quack. That fish is most likely a tigerfish.
  • In Dry Duck Part 2, the orange fish is shown to have a higher pitched voice than normal.
  • Fish in Quack's Pond are freshwater fish, while the fish in Big Bay are saltwater fish.
  • In Current Events, a green fish that looks different appears. An orange version of that fish is seen in the game Where's Quack?.
  • In The Perils of Peep and Chirp, an orange fish under the frozen ocean at Big Bay is seen. The fish looks like one of the freshwater fish in Quack's Pond. Some fish that also look similar to the fish in Quack's Pond are also seen in Fair Shares.
